I'm originally from Devon, in the southwest UK and have been teaching English for 8 years total, first in London and for the past 3 years in Prague.  I'm passionate about cooking and especially love making a wide variety of delicious  Indian curries from scratch, such as Rogan Josh or Tikka Masala. Other interests include travel and golf.  I'm planning on taking Czech lessons this autumn.   

I always try to create a fun and relaxing atmosphere for my students where speaking is encouraged right from the outset. I use the instant error correction method, which really helps to correct pronunciation and grammar mistakes.  Being a native of southern UK, I have a distinct 'Queen's English', or RP (recieved pronunciation) accent, which is quite sought after by many English language learners worldwide. I always try to make lessons as engaging as possible, using a wide variety of teaching materials and activities to keep lessons stimulating and challenging. No boring lessons! I always do a thorough needs analysis in the first lesson with my clients, to be clear about what they want to work on.
